Bridge2Satori
About Us
We – Daniela and Theo – have set out to build bridges.
In a world that seems increasingly loud, fast, and divided, our desire for connection, stillness, and inner peace grows. Not as an escape – but as a conscious decision: peace begins within ourselves.
Our bridge there has a name: Bridge2Satori.
It is a meditation stool – but more than that: it is a symbol for the inner journey, for encounter, for beauty in simplicity.
The idea didn't come suddenly – it took half a lifetime.
I have been concerned with sitting in silence since I was 15 years old. Back then, I sat on a "normal" meditation stool. It was functional – but hard, angular, somehow contradictory to the softness of meditation. It lacked lightness.
Almost 45 years later, my subconscious spoke up - with an impulse:
Turn the stool around. Make it round. Organic. Alive.
This is how the design of our "Bridge" came into being - a curved shape that supports natural sitting.
And because form and material are one, the Bridge is made exclusively from high-quality woods: Oak - powerful, grounded, clear.
And walnut - sensual, warm, deep.
My partner Daniela and I tinkered, felt, and shaped until everything felt right. The "Bridge" was born.
A passion project, a guide, a tool – for you, for us, for everyone seeking stillness in their own way.
But Bridge2Satori is more than just a product.
It is a space, an invitation, a community.
For people who want to remember: themselves, what connects us, what is essential.
Satori - in Zen, this means sudden awakening, the moment of deep insight.
Bridge2Satori is our path to it: calm, mindful, grounded, and always with a smile.
Step by step. Breath by breath.
