Sitting around - Doing nothing
...and yet find something
Proper sitting on the Bridge2Satori
Your First Steps into Meditation
Welcome.
You've become curious – that's already the first step.
Meditation is not a superpower, but rather like brushing your teeth for the mind:
regular, simple – and very beneficial.
1. Sit down. Just like that.
Not in a lotus position, not on a mountain, not in a perfectly lit Instagram picture.
Sit comfortably – on a chair, a cushion, or our Bridge2Satori stool.
The important thing is: upright, but relaxed. You're not meditating for likes.
2. Do nothing. Well: almost nothing.
Close your eyes or leave them half open.
Pay attention to your breath.
In.
Out.
That's it. If you think: "That can't be it!" – then you're right in the middle of it.
3. Thoughts? Of course!
Thoughts come. Always. About shopping. About sitting. About thinking.
You don't have to hold onto any of them. Let them pass like clouds in the sky.
And return – to your breath. Again and again.
4. Which meditation is the best?
The one you do.
Not the most complicated or trendy one – but the one you treat yourself to today.
And maybe tomorrow too.
5. How long?
2 minutes are great. 5 minutes are wonderful.
A timer helps – one with a gentle sound.
Meditation is not a sprint. More like a cup of tea: warm, quiet, strengthening.
6. What's the benefit?
Maybe you'll become calmer. Maybe not immediately.
But you took time for yourself. You paused.
And that's exactly where something new begins.
7. And tomorrow?
No pressure, no plan. Just the quiet invitation:
"Maybe I'll sit down again."
Meditation is a gift – and you can rediscover it anew every day.
